Which browsers are supported?[Bearbeiten]
- expecco in combination with the Selenium IDE supports all JavaScript-enabled browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Opera. Recording can currently only be done with Mozilla Firefox.
Why am I asked to delete my private data when exiting?[Bearbeiten]
- This is not the private data of your personal Firefoxprofile, but the data of the profile which expecco creates especially for testing. The deletion is done in order to prevent errors that may occur due to stored cookies or similar in the event of further recordings or playback. You can deactivate the option in the Firefox browser in the corresponding profile by unchecking the box at "Tools" → "Settings" → "Privacy" → "Delete Private Data" when Firefox is closed.
Selenium mit Tomcat[Bearbeiten]
- If you are using Selenium on a Tomcat server you only have to make sure that the variable 'browserType' is not set to 'iexplore' in the variable environment.
