Import of OPC-UA or S7 Library
These libraries contain low-level action blocks, to read/write values. In many cases, these are way too "low-level", and you may want to refer to those by a logical name. These name-to-address mappings can come from a configuration file, which is either part of the suite as attachment or present externally in some folder (of course, it is also possible, to use any other existing mechanism to import test data, such as XML, JSON or CSV file readers, database queries, HTTP requests etc).
For Siemens S7: choose "SPS-XML Import" from the "Plugins" - "Import" menu. This reads a standard Siemens configuration export file, and creates action blocks to access values by their logical name. In addition, corresponding datatypes are generated which will also appear in the activity log/report as such.
