In "Extras" → "Tools"-Menu[Bearbeiten]
- "Explorer" / "Explorer In...":
opens a Windows Explorer in one of the working directories (only on Windows platform)
- "Finder" / "Finder In...":
opens a Finder in one of the working directories (only on mac-OSX platform)
- "Screenshot":
generates a screenshot (in BMP, PNG, or TIFF format). Define the area by press-and-dragging a rectangle. The variant with delay is useful to capture dialogs or context menus which would otherwise disappear with a click.
- "Screenshot of same area ":
creates a screenshot of the same area areain
- "Model Translation Editor":
To define language-specific translations of elements
- "Import Shell or Batch Scripts":
Generates blocks to execute existing scripts.
- "Import Attachments":
Imports entire folders as attachments.
In "Extras" → "Debugging"-Menu[Bearbeiten]
- "Process Monitor":
opens a monitor which shows threads inside expecco.
The tool is described in the "Smalltalk/X Online Documentation". - "OS Process Monitor":
opens a monitor which shows operating system processes started by expecco. - "External Streams Monitor":
opens a monitor which shows streams (files, sockets, etc.) which are currently opened (in use) by expecco. - "Network Diagnose":
contains menu items to check the reachability of hosts/ports inside your local area network (to check reachability of partner systems or test systems).
