Recording in the GUI Browser
Click on the "Recording" icon 
in the GUI Browser.
You are now recording in the so called "GUI Recorder".
Use "zoom" at the left bottom, to adjust its size.
The recorder will add an action whenever you click on an element in the page. The type of action is selected via the dropbox at the top. Thus, both clicks and checks can be recorded.
With "auto"-seleced, a useful action is choosen automatically (click or drag).
Store short sequences like a Login, Search in a List, Forms Entry etc.
and give your actions descriptive names, so that you can reuse those sequences in other tests.
