Incompatibilities
A number of additional attributes were added to the 2.8 release, which were not present in previous releases.
One of them is the new variable pin group feature (multiple pins as variable pin group).
If a suite is saved in 2.8, and loaded into a 2.7 or earlier expecco, that attribute will be lost (the suite is still executable, but when saved again, the pin group attribute is lost).
This is not a problem if a department is migrating from 2.7 to 2.8. However, in an environment, where both versions are used in parallel, the 2.7 users should install the recommended patches, to prevent loss of these attributes.
