-expeccoNET is a centralized, web based management system, which performs the following tasks:
-* distribution and scheduling of tests among a farm of test execution hosts (the "test slaves")
-* triggering of test runs based on time schedules, source code changes or explicit triggers
-* management of resources such as test equipment or human operators
-* issue tracking (defects, requirements or general actions) and linkage of test results to issues
-* project progress tracking based on the above
-* user, customer, project, component management including ticket accounting for customer relation management
-* multiple clients, roles, groups with fine-grain control of artefact visibility
-* versioning, change history
-* various statistics, dashboards and reports on project/progress status
-* multi user, multi language, browser based user interface using dynamic html for immediate feedback and live information display
-expeccoNET can interface with various other QA systems, for example to add test scheduling and resource management
-to systems which do not support such features (e.g. HP Quality Centre).
-expeccoNET can interact and control with various test systems, but has special additional interfaces for expecco test slaves. Especially the resource management and reporting features are especially tailored for expecco.
