In practice, there is not much to setup or configure, as expecco tries to find out where required external tools are installed. However, if any is at a non-standard place, you should open the "Extras" → "Settings" dialog and check the following:

  • JVM path,
if you use any the following features: Groovy, JavaSwing UI-Testing, JavaSWT UI-Testing
  • Appium, ADB paths,
if you do Mobile Testing for Android or iOS
  • External Script Interpreter paths,
if you need to interface to frameworks implemented in Python, C or other languages
  • External Tool paths
if you want to edit attachments/CSV files with your favourite editor.
