- alert(message)
opens an alert dialog above the expecco window.
- Transcript.show(message)
sends a message to the expecco console (Transcript).
- Transcript.showCR(message)
sends a message followed by a newline to the expecco console (Transcript).
- Stderr.show(message)
sends a message to expecco's stderr.
- Stderr.showCR(message)
sends a message followed by a newline to expecco's stderr.
Notice that the bridge's regular stdout and stderr are also forwarded to expecco, which will display them in its Transcript, if so checked in the settings (preceeded by the file descriptor number, 1 or 2).
