Do not confuse this the setup for test suite repositories; this dialog configures access to the sources of the open-source class libraries, which are part of the expecco framework and which constitute the API for elementary actions. For test repositories, different plugins and their setup dialogs are provided.
This is only needed, if you have NOT checked the "'Ínstall Sources" checkbox when you ran the expecco setup, or if you need to look at additional classes which are not included in the deployment (to save space, we do not include demo, examples and other less useful sources, which are otherwise part of the ST/X package).
If configured and enabled in this dialog, expecco will access sources by fetching the code directly from a (readonly) shadow CVS repository, which is synchronized with the developer's repository every night.
For normal work, this is not required.
Be aware that although fetched CVS sources are cached, and thus checked out only once, access to source code will be slower than if the sources are present on your disk as installed with the setup.
Also be aware, that not all sources of the system are available online.
