If enabled, expecco will announce its availability via SSDP multicast messages (also known as UPnP). These announcements are especially useful for:
- the remote control app which runs on a mobile device
- other expeccos to detect possible execution partners
- expeccoALM to detect possible execution slaves
- administrators looking for machines which might have floating licenses allocated
