Sound Settings[Bearbeiten]

Audio feedback via sound effects is sometimes useful, if your test is to be executed while you cannot watch the computer's display. This may be because you have to operate the system under test, or handle measurement equipment, or because it is a long running test, and you want to do something else in the meanwhile, but be informed if some special condition arises.

Notice that sound playing might be not supported on all operating systems / hardware configurations. If in doubt, click on the note-icon to the right of the sound selection field, to check if sound works OK on your machine. If the "Enable Sound Effects" check box is disabled, expecco itself already figured out, that it cannot play sounds on that machine.
