  • alert(format, ...)
    opens an alert dialog above the expecco window. The arguments are printf style.
  • show(Transcript, message)
    sends a message to the expecco console (Transcript).
  • showCR(Transcript, message)
    sends a message followed by a newline to the expecco console (Transcript).
  • show(Stderr, message)
    sends a message to expecco's stderr.
  • showCR(Stderr, message)
    sends a message followed by a newline to expecco's stderr.

Notice that the regular stdout and stderr are also forwarded to expecco, which will display them in its Transcript, if so checked in the settings (preceeded by the file descriptor number, 1 or 2).
