To save the recorded sequence as a new action block in the project tree, end the recording mode and click the save icon: 
A dialog will appear, asking for the name of the action.
You can record further sequences and store them as individual actions.
Store short sequences like a Login, Search in a List, Forms Entry etc.
and give your actions descriptive names, so that you can reuse those sequences in other tests.
