Inventories can be attached to and defined within a suite, however, the full power of the resource management in expecco is exposed, if expecco is operated with a central test scheduling system, such as expeccoNET, which preallocates devices for a test, and passes that "bag of reserved devices" to expecco before execution starts.

This editor is used to describe the set of resources which make up an inventory. An inventory is the "pool" from which devices are allocated when an action requires a device or operator for its operation.
